At MacroArt we are committed to sustainability and are leading the way in solutions to reduce the environmental impact of our work.
Our strategy is built upon five pillars that puts sustainability at the heart of our business.
Our latest independent report shows we have reduced our carbon emissions by 24% per square metre of material, and we are on track to achieve our goal to reduce our carbon footprint by 50% by 2030.
As part of our commitment, we are passionate about supporting our clients to deliver sustainable solutions for their branding and signage requirements.
At MacroArt we are committed to moving up the Waste Hierarchy to ensure our clients gain from our service. We use several sorting methods and technologies to remove as much recyclable material from general waste as possible.
In February, we piloted a new initiative to support our clients exhibiting at ICE London at the ExCeL to support their sustainability objectives. We provided an end-to-end, turnkey graphics solution for multiple exhibitors that included print, install, derig, sorting, waste collection, and recycling through fully audited waste streams. Analysis of the data post-event showed that 1500 square metres of graphics materials were collected, graded, and processed by our Sustainability Team and diverted from potential landfill disposal. Although complex in the planning, we developed effective processes on site to minimise impact for the client whilst maximising the quantity of materials reclaimed, resulting in a trouble-free operation.
